1 billion supporters
We don’t need a billionaire to save the planet — we need a billion people.
Anti-fortune-hostage pledge
GreenSweep does not solicit a single billion-dollar gift, and the foundation’s charter does not permit a controlling private donor. Climate action that depends on one fortune is hostage to one mood. A billion free votes is not.
GreenSweep’s flagship goal is one billion supporters. Each supporter is a free, opt-in diaspora signup — alongside the family remittance, never instead of it. A billion supporters is the political and commercial signal that moves outside funders to direct climate investment toward the regions diaspora communities care most about. The number on the counter below is the verified pledged dollars that have already followed those votes; we refresh it once per cohort, so it is intentionally one cohort behind live data.

Supporter sign-ups are the live signal today; verified pledged dollars publish here as soon as the first cohort clears verification.
The math
| Lever | Mechanism | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Free vote | Allocates the next cycle’s funding pool. | Supporters |
| Platform revenue | 70% of advertising revenue routes to projects. | Transparency |
| Matched funding | Corporate sustainability budgets match diaspora votes 1:1 or higher in eligible regions. | Transparency |
| Verified pledges | Counter above shows pledges that have cleared verification, refreshed once per cohort. | Transparency |

Frequently asked questions
Why a billion supporters and not a billion dollars?
▾
We do not need a single billionaire. We need a billion people pointing outside funding in the same direction. The wallet stays closed; the political and commercial signal is what shifts the money.
How does a free vote unlock real money?
▾
Corporate sustainability budgets, matched-funding sponsors, and platform advertising revenue route to the projects the diaspora vote points at. The money never originates from supporters; it originates from sponsors who care where the diaspora vote lands.
Why is the counter intentionally one cohort behind?
▾
We refresh the verified pledged total once per cohort to keep the number defensible. Showing live, mid-cohort numbers would mean publishing pledges that have not yet cleared verification. This page therefore lags real numbers by one cohort by design.
Is this an MLM, a recruiting funnel, or a donation appeal?
▾
None of those. There is no payout, no upline, no donation. A free vote that signals where outside funding should go.
What if my country's donate flow is locked?
▾
Voting and signup work everywhere. The active donate flow refuses Philippines and India until a Philippine foundation and an FCRA-registered Indian beneficiary are in place. That has no effect on the billion-supporter count.
