Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using GreenSweep, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. We may update these Terms anytime. Continued use means acceptance of updates.

2. Who We Are

The operating entity is GreenSweep Pte. Ltd., a private limited company registered in Singapore (UEN 202619802N). A Malta Purpose Foundationis in formation under Chapter 16 of the Laws of Malta. Once incorporated, the Foundation is intended to assume operations and be bound by Malta’s purpose-foundation law to the environmental mission described on /commitment.

3. Age Requirements & Child Protection

Minimum age: You must meet the minimum age for your country to create an account. In most markets the minimum is 13 years old. In Germany and Austria the minimum is 16 years old to reflect local digital-consent thresholds under GDPR Art. 8. The minimum age for your market is displayed during registration.

Users under 18:If you are under 18, you may vote and participate in the platform's environmental mission. However:

• You are not eligible for Tier 2 data sharing or any associated reward programmes.
• Your data will not be shared with advertising or research networks under Tier 2.
• We do not knowingly profile or target users under 18 for commercial purposes.

Parental consent: Users under 18 should have the knowledge and, where required by applicable law, consent of a parent or legal guardian before registering.

Other account rules:Your account is personal and non-transferable. You won't impersonate others or misuse the platform. You're responsible for account security. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Voting & Participation

Voting is free. You agree to: Vote honestly (no automation, bots, or manipulation) · Not create multiple accounts to amplify votes · Respect the voting mechanism—it powers our funding allocation. Any vote manipulation disqualifies your account and any associated funding.

Project allocations: Votes and project allocations represent your stated preference. GreenSweep honours allocations in aggregate across the community — no individual vote guarantees a specific funding outcome for any project. Funding is distributed to projects proportionally based on total community votes within each allocation period.

5. User Content

If you submit content (comments, suggestions, feedback), you grant GreenSweep a non-exclusive license to use it to improve the platform. We may remove content that violates these Terms or is illegal.

6. Revenue & Funding

You acknowledge: GreenSweep generates revenue through commercial partnerships · 70% of platform revenue flows to environmental projects during the initial operating period—with a ratchet clause targeting increased project share over time · Additional matched funding and corporate sustainability capital flows 100% to projects, raising overall impact efficiency above 85% · Your voting directs where project funding flows · You do not donate, invest, or claim ownership.

7. Data Sharing & Tier 2 Consent

GreenSweep offers an optional "Amplify my impact" data-sharing tier. When you opt in, anonymised demographic data (environmental interest, age range, household size, market) is shared with environmental research partners and advertising networks to generate additional revenue for environmental projects. Your email, name, and individual voting history are never shared. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, Section 5. You can opt out at any time in account settings without losing access to any platform features.

8. Intellectual Property

GreenSweep's content, design, and code are protected. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without permission. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass security measures.

9. Disclaimers

GreenSweep is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for: Project failures or underperformance · Environmental outcomes not materializing · Data loss (use backups) · Third-party service downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value you personally funded (which is €0, since the platform is free). Some jurisdictions don't allow liability limitations, so this may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend/terminate accounts for: Violations of these Terms · Vote manipulation · Illegal activity · Inactivity (180+ days). Termination is effective immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of Singapore in respect of GreenSweep Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202619802N), the current operating entity. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of Singapore courts. They will be re-issued under Maltese law and submitted to the jurisdiction of Maltese courts upon the completion of formation of the Malta Purpose Foundation. Non-EU residents may dispute resolution outside the listed jurisdictions if permitted by law.
